  1. Top 12 players at the 67th Asantehene Open. (RESERVED)
  2. Valid Lady Professional Golf (LPGA) tour or membership card.

    Entries shall be limited to 30 golfers comprising the 12 who made the cut and 18 golfers on first come first served based on payment of entry fees.

GHS 500.00 (Five hundred GHS)

Payment by Telecel Cash 0207122888 (Royal Golf Club, Kumasi) or Cash at the Caddy Master’s Office at the Clubhouse. Entry confirmed ONLY after payment of fee.

Winner - 40,000 (Forty Thousand GHS)

2nd - 25,000 (Twenty-Five Thousand GHS) 

3rd - 16,000 (Sixteen Thousand GHS)

4th - 14,000 (Fourteen Thousand GHS

5th - 12,000 (Twelve Thousand GHS)

6th - 10,000 (ten Thousand GHS)

7th - 8,000 (Eight Thousand GHS)

8th - 7,000 (Seven Thousand GHS)

9th - 6,000 (Six Thousand GHS)                                                     

10th - 5,000 (Five Thousand GHS)

11th -  4,000 (Four Thousand GHS)

12th - 3,000 (Three Thousand GHS)

TOTAL 150,000 (One hundred and fifty Thousand Ghana Cedis)

 

Total Purse is based on a minimum of 30 entries and a cut of 12 players.  A reduction of more than 20% of anticipated field will result in a prorated reduction of the total and individual purses. This shall be determined before the start of the competition.

 

CHARGES AND LEVIES

  1. Administrative – 2.5% of Wining Prize.
  2. LPGA Levy – 5% of Winning Purse (Optional)

All charges and levies would be deducted at source. 

CADDY FEES

Rounds 1 and 2:             GHS 100.00 (paid to the Caddy Master with entry fee)

Rounds 3 (Final):           5% of winning purse. (to be deducted at source and paid to Caddy 

                                         on Sunday 15th June 2025 from 8am to 10am)

PAYMENT OF NET WINNING PURSE:

Strictly by bank transfer within 2 weeks into a designated or nominated account provided by the golfer. Payment shall be without any further charges.

Draw

The draw for the event would be published at least 2 days (48 hours) prior tee off day

Conditions Of Play

The competition shall be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as approved by the R and A Golf Club of St. Andrews, the United States Golf Association, the Professional Golf Association and the local rules of the Royal Golf Club, Kumasi.

 

Ties

In the event of a tie for first place, the overall winner will be decided by a play-off over holes 8 and 9.  If there is still a tie after the play-off, a sudden death play-off starting on holes 8 and 9 will be played until a winner emerges. 

 

Cut off

The Organizing Committee will cut the field to 50% of the total or a maximum of 12 players after 36 holes. Should there be a tie for the last position, the determination shall be by countback or other similar arrangements to be agreed prior to the start of the tournament.

 

Adjudicating Committee

The Tournament Director of PGA Ghana will be the Chairman of the Adjudicating Committee. Other members will be selected from the following: - 

  1. The Captain (or equivalent position) of the Royal Golf Club, Kumasi
  2. Secretary of the GGA or in his absence any GGA executive member present.
  3. President of Professional Golfers Association, Ghana.

 

General Play Dress Code

WHITE/RED/GREY polo shirts/dress.

 

Refreshment And Meals 

  1. Brunch will be served from 10am to 2pm on all days to scheduled players.
  2. Water and beer/malt on all days to scheduled players.

 

Awards Dinner Invitation

The Winner and ALL golfers are to attend Awards Dinner on Saturday 14th June 2025 at the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Jubilee Hall, Manhyia Palace from 7pm.
